(01) How do I care for this product?
Details can be found on our FAQ page. That said, in general, treat the piece with kindness - and a damp cloth is all you need to clean it (definitely no harsh chemicals), and the piece can be refreshed with a bit of furniture wax when needed, though it shouldn’t be necessary very often with these.
(02) Is this water proof?
It is water resistant and will protect your surfaces from condensation, however the slightly porous nature of wood is actually ideal for coasters. If it was fully water proof, condensation would spill onto the table. Over time, the coaster may show some slight wear, but it can be rejuvenated with a light sanding and a new coat of wax.
